PowerShell v2 Installing PowerShell ISE on 2008 R2 Server

,
I know this has been mentioned over and over again. I had to do it tonight and figured Id jot it down, if, for one else, myself in the future.

  1. Launch Server Manager.
  2. Switch to the Features view.
  3. Click the Add Features link button in blue on the top, right hand side of the page.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom, and, enable the "Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE)" checkbox.
  5. Click Install.
  6. Click Close.
The ISE should now be available for sue on our Windows Server 2008 R2 machine now. Now you can access it by clicking Start | All Programs | Accessories | Windows PowerShell | Windows PowerShell ISE. Alternatively, you can simply click start and type the name Windows PowerShell ISE in the search box and it should appear for you to select.
